Per Interval:  Each grade is assigned an expected time interval by which to count their learning - from 5 minutes for kindergarten to 20 minutes for students in Grades 5 and 6. By sponsoring a boy per interval, you encourage him to strive to increase his learning.

Flat Rate:  Giving a child a flat sponsorship means that you are either handing them a donation at that time or promising them a pre-determined amount to collect after they complete their learning on Shavuos.
